Not one genuin thing?

If I am this tool then Nothing from me has ever been genuine. I cant have done any thing on my own that I own?

Now I am this rusting screw driver in the bottom of an old tool box rattling around... awaiting the day when the mechanic cleans house. I am nothing.

All I can do is undo any harm I have done. If I can touch what I have changed, can't I undo the mechanics will. just a bit of it any way. I don not like being used. shouldn't a proper tool like to be used?

Not one work I wrote was my own. The whole crap was a lie... yea that won't work either he says as he smirks and sharpens me for tomorrows lies...

Their client was unable to sell his life saving product because a major medical industry needle manufacturer and the hospital group purchasing organizations had a monopoly. These fiends valued this monopoly far more than the lives of thousands of Human Beings being murdered by their products.

Mike Weiss never lived to see those beautiful safety needles widely used and supported as they are today. But he shone as a brilliant light in a very dark world... He may have been killed in an attempt to end litigation against criminals in high places.

I propose the overturning of the popular belief that "man" (Humanity) may be descended from fish... or lower life here in Earth. I believe that the oceans are the living waters mentioned in some of the oldest writings on our planet. I believe that Humanity may carry the information needed to populate an ocean with life capable of stabilizing a whole biosphere on any planet that either already has a required balance of conditions or that can be so engineered.

I have always seen a striking parallel between simple life in the oceans and the processes tissues and cells in the bodies of all complex lifeforms in Earth. Coral is strikingly like bone. Amoebae are so much like our white blood cells. The oceans are just as salty as our blood. Healthy sea water has a pH near that of Human blood in health.

I believe that one or more races of beings uses Human kind in at least one stage of the cultivation and harvesting of planets. The phrase "from your bowls shall come forth living waters" has haunted me ever since I can remember. If the Galaxy is populated with intelligent life then I say they would use other life as we use bees and dogs and horses and each other. I say Humanity may well be just such a tool in Earth right now and that our genetic information may have been used as a blueprint for the living ocean. Thus... not "man" from fish but fish from "man"...

In our bodies are whole communities of bacteria. Some of these bacteria are amazing and complex. Some are like factories that can create almost any organic molecule life might need. Bacteria can be manipulated by viruses. The viruses can be designed to alter the instructions that control what the bacteria do.

LOL well of course its going to look that way. The surface of the earth is expanding away from the core at ~9.80 M/s²

When (t₁) the sender emitted the light both sender and receiver where closer to the core (R₁) of the earth and closer (D₁) to each other than they where when (t₂) the particles reach the receiver. Because the earth is expanding outward at the accelerating rate and because the speed of light always stays the same relative to this expansion the apparent distance/time or velocity is going to appear to be faster than expected.

At t₂ the time of reception D₂ was much greater than D₁. The expected path for the particles would be over the distance at time 1 at light speed at time 1 but the true path and speed are like the diagonal line in my little picture.

t₁ is when the particles left the sender
t₂ Is when the particles where received
R₁ is the earth radius at t₁
R₂ is the earth radius at t₂
D₁ is the path distance at t₁
D₂ is the path distance at t₂

Only now is Human kind beginning to see the reality of our existence. Now we have the ability to discern the symptoms of our own accelerating expansion and the reality that what we call gravity is not a force but a result. But even this enlightened view might be less than the whole story. Perhaps our revelation is a perpetual journey from one reality into the next and then another...

Anyone else having this issue?

I used to do all my blogging from Firefox. I just went there a little bit ago to update my blog and post an article but there is NO place for me to sign in/ degisn/etc. on the top of the screen.

Is there a setting that needs fixed or something that I can do to fix the issue?

I am having same problem here. Chrome works fine, as does Safari. What is up with Firefox?

I am also encountering the same problem here... I was working on my blog on Firefox when suddenly I wasn't able to post and redirected to the sign-in page where after filling up my email and password, I still couldn't log in. I am now using Cometbird to log in. Hope there is someone out there who could tell me what went wrong...

Same here..started about 1 hour ago. When i log in its says "redirecting" and then goes to sighn in again. I notice there is no dashboard showing at top of blog in Furefox but is in other browsers.Glad to know it isnt just me.

Same problem here, first noticed it on the 24th. In Firefox 4 at the top of the screen instead of the usual banner containing the sign-in link I see a narrow section of a web page containing blog templates, looks like the sign-up page for a new user. There is a password entry box, but it won't accept my login. No problem in Internet Explorer or Chrome.

Same here. I can log into Blogger via Safari and Win Ex, but not Firefox? I've noticed as of late there are a few "log-in" sites I can't open via Firefox. Let's get on it Firefox!!!JVOntario, California.

Joining the choir. Can't login using firefox either, but chrome and IE works fine.
Yesterday Firefox seemed ok on the stationary computer, (xp) but not on my laptop (w7), which is the
my primary blogtool.
Having the same screen as everyone else with the login on top, showing email&password.

Same issue here - as above. Been going on all week since aroudn the 23rd. At least internet explorer isn't having the issue with line spacing any more - getting bored habing to change browsers all the time just to post on blogger!

Same here. I regularly use Firefox, version 3.6.17, to update my blog, and I have not been able to login since the 23rd. I've had to go through Chrome or IE. I'd like to know when they are going to fix this. It's getting old.

Same issue. At the top of my blog home page, there should be a gadget that allows signon, so that I can edit individual posts by clicking on the Pencil icon. In Mozilla FIrefox 4.0.1 on OS X 10.6.7 this bar does not appear. Very frustrating. I've also had difficulty logging into a few other things, Google included.Chrome works ok and displays the top bar. So does Safari. What gives, Mozilla?

I had not updated Firefox but was experiencing the same problem for this past week whenever I tried to post. As soon as I signed in, the page would go into an endless 'reload' loop. Then I noticed that my Google home page was not displaying properly. Thought I'd fix the problem by upgrading to Firefox 4, but that didn't help. Then I thought it might be my Linux version, so updated to 10.4, but that didn't help either. Looked up several solutions, but none of them worked yet. I hope someone comes up with an answer soon!

I've had same problem with Firefox and Blogger. I've also noticed that GoDaddy webmail is now a bit flaky when I'm running Firefox. The "Sent" mail page won't display or open. Obviously Firefox has some serious problems. I had upgraded to version 5..0 because I was running into frequent crashes under the previous version. The crashes are less frequent under 5.0 but still pop up from time to time when I'm performing a task in Aweber. I guess I'll be using Chrome more frequently in the future. Too bad. I really liked Firefox back when I first used it several versions ago.

I hold the belief that Earth is a living entity and that the oceans are to her as our blood is to us.

Its not news that the oceans are changing. Some argue the change is largely natural and not due to Human activity. Most of the people who do not believe Humanity is harming Earth are either dependent on the industrial status quo or owned by them.

Most of us are all growing tired of hearing how bad things are getting in every direction. I know I am. I am so sad and disappointed with myself I can hardly rise from my pallet to look at the news again. I'm not doing any thing to fix any thing.

Now I see that the very blood of the Mother of all life is far worse of than even the environmentalists had thought. The International Programme on the State of the Ocean (IPSO) is saying "The Ocean has already absorbed more than 80% of the heat added to the climate system and around 33% of the carbon dioxide emitted by humans. Ecosystems are collapsing as species are pushed to extinction and natural habitats are destroyed. Scientists believe that there is still time to prevent irreversible, catastrophic changes to our marine ecosystems but that this requires drastic action within a decade."

The IPSO has outlined problems and solutions but the way I feel today I just don't hold out much hope. As populations of Humans become more and more desperate for food and money they tend to disregard laws and take what they can any way they can. Collectively Humanity seems to act much like a bacteria devouring a piece of food. Unchecked we will poison ourselves long before we starve to death

The true cost of oil, Again

I have spewed about the true cost of oil many times as Sativarg here and now again I will say the true cost of oil should be reflected in what we pay for oil related products and should always have been.

Please try to understand the cost in lives and reputation and rationalizations that have legitimized the unmeasurable damage to Earth's biosphere. I prayed for the price to reflect the true cost. Only when the price is honest will we begin to place value on the kind of NRG responsibility that leads to efficiency and Human sustainably. Without the painful truth that has been hidden from us we will not find balance.

I say the current price of Gasoline still does not reflect it's true cost.

I say do not ask president Obama to support a lie by manipulating the price of fuel against a truth that might just save America.

Dark dream of flooding

Five years ago I had a very dire dream about a hurricane that managed to travel up the Mississippi river flood basin all the way to Chicago/Indianapolis. Yea it was not a hurricane by the time it got to Arkansas it was a tropical depression but many tornadoes and beyond record flooding made the basin a huge disaster zone.

It's just a dream. But the current state of the river feels like the dream so strongly I can not not tell about what I saw and felt and ..., I don't know, knew. If a hurricane does move in the same way as I saw in the dream... if it looks like this thing is coming I will update this thread and make a big deal to try and warn the Federal Emergency Management people.

There was a large low pressure area over Kansas city that was stubbornly stationary in the dream... there was already very high water in the whole Mississippi river valley and the surrounding flood plain. That high water and record heat combined to fuel the tropical storm all along its inland path. The storm name was Bernard... LOL Bernard? I don't know if that is even possible.

Why Mercury seems dense for its size relative to Earth

I do not believe that the unexpected density of mercury is due to its content. I believe the density of the planet is due to the density of energy of its local environment and the proximity and force of the solar wind. As I have postulated, all mater expands outward form its center at a rate that is directly proportional to the "empty space" surrounding it or inversely proportional to the density of energy surrounding it. In this case, we see Earth as or closest example of a solid planet and we have expectations about other solid bodies base on Earths example. In fact all the other planets we have close access to are, like Earth, far from the environment so filled with energy that Mercury endures. Thus all Human expectations are based on data that would support the idea that Mercury is some how unusual.

Of course most real scientists do not consider my ideas about gravity and universal expansion when observing the universe; thus the most logical conclusion would be that Mercury has shrank when in fact it simply is not accelerating outward as rapidly as Earth and most of the other examples they have used to set expectations.

Perhaps this study of Mercury will finally lead to a better Human understanding of the true nature of gravity and the universe.

Responsible Acknowledgment VS silence...

I hope Gabrielle Giffords and all those recovering from the violence of January 8, 2011 achieve a full recovery. The death of eight persons is a tragedy that may only make sense if some attempts are made to prevent the next one.

The deaths and injuries that ripped away the peace and calm of a gathering in Arizona might well never have happened had one person replied to a question from another. In certain situations the most provocative act is to ignore some one. Recently I have noticed a trend of dismissing persons. Such dismissal and out right ignoring may, too often, serve to bury problems in a way that leads to festering resentments and rising hatred.

Q:"What is government if words have no meaning?"

A:...???

Problem how do you answer a question that does not exist? As hard as I try I find the question unanswerable as spoken. But any response would have been better in this situation than silence.

Being ignored or discounted has harmful effects on the most stable among us. Imagine the effect it may have on a person on the edge of sanity. I am not trying to put blame on a victim here I am saying it is better to acknowledge everyone who has made the effort to speak.

"The government is implying mind control and brainwash on the people by controlling grammar,"

Here we have another example of a group of words that just don't work as placed. I can not digest this group of words so what do I do with it? I get the feeling this was the strategy of a person who needs control and absolute advantage in conversation but who lacks the skill to achieve it. Such broken yet seemingly clear logic serves to unbalance an opponent.

Another possibility that occurs to me is that this person simply wants some one to say: "you are making no sense." Perhaps the use of broken logic is an attempt to get an honest response pointing out the flaw and instead most people will try to be polite or cant detect the problem in the phrase as spoken.

In any case, I believe we have a responsibility to respond to each other. Perhaps communication is nothing when those who hear do not care and those who care do not speak. How do you feel when you say "hello" and you are obviously heard but no one responds?

Democracy is dysfunctional

The American Democratic system

in its current state

is dysfunctional and self destructive

to a degree that threatens

America, Earth and Humanity.

. To continue as we have into the next decade is a huge mistake and the return I am seeing to business as usual has me very disillusioned. The illusion is that our Democracy works. Perhaps the great experiment has become corrupt as our Ship of State has gone far to long unamended by the kind of furious and passionate persons who first imagined it. I am chillingly reminded of the titanic as I see the separation grow between those with and without the very limited seats in precious life boats.

Every one of the Huge problems now facing America and all the rest of the democracies in the world can be traced directly to the adversarial relationships between parties or sides. The result of the kind of division that seems to be the default condition of modern democratic states is sabotage. I ran across this text while poking around for info on the bird deaths of 2010 and 2011. It echoes the stuff that forces itself to the surface when ever I drink quite a bit and write. It is chilling in its similarity to some of "my" Ideas. Could it be I and this author have some truth in common or could we both be tools who spread disinformation? I never read this till today so I do not believe this person has had any influence over my thinking until now.

A person who commits treason is known in law as a traitor.

What shall we call the act of betrayal when it encompass all of Humanity. Some persons now living and many who have passed are such universal traitors. These persons have knowingly and willingly withheld key evidence of the true nature of Human existence and have done so to gain wealth and or power. Some one died 7 days ago. That person would have changed human history. The change that will now never happen would have resulted in the declaration of a new age of brilliance and piece for humanity.

Every age in human history has milestones that are made of events shaped by what persons do or do not do. Some outstanding Americans are under stains that will be unbearable for some. Some who are self aware and battle wise will step back and let others carry the load so they can recover. Some will break publicly and self destruct. Some will succumb to the frailties of the flesh as basic self preservation might distract from their dedication to duty and the focus needed to overcome Americas trials.

The burden on the shoulders of a few men and women in these times is invisible like the wind from a perfect storm. Like that wind it can steal breath and balance without warning and test every weakness to the extreme. Such are the times that can take a man like Richard Holbrooke with out warning and too young.

I had to use a thesaurus to find it again four years ago and I wrote it on a piece of paper and put it in front of me so I could find it as I need it...

What does this mean this loss of

a word. I believe I chose to deny myself this word because of the state of the Galaxy. I am becoming aware of the importance of certain conventions that may well be widespread in the Milky Way and other galaxies. I believe that a form of slavery is the norm and that what we have come to know as freedom is the exception for sentient life in the Galaxy.

This is so important a point that I had chosen to reserve or even prevent the use of the word Exploit. This word is a significant point of contention when speaking to extra planetary authorities as it is seen as subversive and insulting. Slavery of the type Humanity is subject is the norm in our Galaxy and we are contracted and owned accordingly. Our task is the preparation of this planet for a harvest that will leave very little in the way of readily available resources when it is finished.

I was watching THIS TV just now and saw the terminator on The Outer Limits. It was like an early interpretation of the terminator series but with better writing.

Sure enough Harlan Ellison wrote the seed of the terminator series in Soldier (The Outer Limits)

The factors that make a superb interactive fiction are the exact same factors that breath life into role playing games. Dialogue and story and believability must be crisp for both. The Modding communities for games Like Oblivion and Fallout 3 often crave the skills that the text adventure community excels at.

One of the greatest selling points of I.F. has always been imagination; the imagination of the player. We decide what the world looks like just as readers of novels create the world as the author guides them forward. Now we have massive memory and HD screens and real to life graphics spoon feeding us these worlds. BUT! we also have editors and modders and the ability to play God in our own PC environments. So I say good. I say let there be light. And I say give me the switch.

When the historians, if we have a future, look back to this time from 100 years hence; perhaps the whole of early game development will be seen as a golden thread leading to either disaster or salvation for humanity. Virtual reality is very powerful and seductive, whether it be as pure text or augmented by artworks of sound and graphics. The medium is a solid potential in our lives that is a continuation of the earliest songs and stories shared as fundamental forms of communication throughout Human history. It is how we choose to use this potential that will determine how it shapes our lives and our children's lives.

I am watching the documentary Get Lamp , and I came to a segment in which Peter Nepstad says "We read for hours and hours on our computers" and it strikes me that the internet is, for many of us, an interactive fiction but with real people and real consequences to a point. Yet we are in no immediate danger as we chat or blog or even email with our online persona.

We type our bits and wait for replies and isn't it so much like the early text adventures? Yes there are plenty of multilayer text based games online but I think the truly addicted among us are all playing at an immersive escape from reality. Some of the hoops I find myself jumping through to simply post a comment are a lot like the mazes that frustrated the early text gamers. Avoiding viruses and spy-ware is a lot like dodging arrows and taking potions and fighting dragons. We all have our favorite rituals to stay alive in this adventure called the Internet.

I believe the current methods of negotiating peace between combatant states is ineffectual and incomplete. Humans are not beings of pure logic that will act according to rule and mandate. We are, more than a little, animal. The animal in us overrides rules and logics to satisfy millennia of behavioral evolution. Therefore a conflict is not over until ancient conditions are met. Only when l our animal nature is satisfied can we hope to reason with ourselves and impose order according to logics.

Many cultures have adapted to accommodate the needs of our animal nature in ways that preserve life while still resolving conflicts successfully. Unfortunately Christianity, among other religions, falsely hold Human kind as separate from animal kind and when Christianity and western culture is imposed on some cultures they will lose the very adaptations that have successfully maintained peace.

The current methods that attempt to quell violence using logic and negotiations can not satisfy the conditions required by the core of the individuals involved in a conflict. No amount of hand shaking and glad talking between politicians can quench the deep burning need for closure that has gone largely unseen by our current "civilized" society.

I believe the need for closure and satisfaction that truly ends conflict is the only true path to peace between Israel and those who have reason to hate Israel. I hold that no political solution will satisfy the needs of the people suffering middle east conflicts. I also say that our (the western nations) current and recent efforts to build or enforce Peace in this part of the world only manages to prolong bloodshed and a festering hatred until it has become a systemic infection on humanity.

I have believed that humanities evolution together with bacteria means that our current abuse of our partners in life is resulting in vulnerabilities that are being misunderstood. My father was forever telling me how important it was to take my Acidophilus - Bifidin tablets. He was a math major at Southern Illinois University Carbondale but I believe his passion was human biology and psychology. He believed in vitamins and probiotics and made sure my mother and I always had a good regiment of both.

I am now a homeless veteran. I have spent a lot of time out of doors and unwashed so to speak. So I have experience with a more natural state of human exobiology than the average guy who chlorinates to death the biosphere on his surface. One thing I have noted is a pronounced loss in tolerance to sun exposure when I've bathed in chlorinated water. So being the son of a learned man, who always pushed me to ask the right questions, I said "What If". Is it possible that the bacteria that we evolved with have been keeping our skin safer from, among other things, the sun. What if my high school biology teacher or rather the text book he was "encouraged" to use, was wrong when it said our first line of defense was the epidermis. What if humanities first line of defense has always been the flora and fauna living in and on the epidermis.

About 15 years ago I went to a guys house party that featured bad music and more than enough black light. A large mirror in one room revealed a difference between me and my host. I was green and he was dark in the black light. He was quite amused at my obvious lack of "proper hygiene". But I was quite clean enough having bathed in a local lake just that morning. My host had been swimming in a chlorinated pool as had many of the other guests at the party. I noted differing degrees of green vs dark among the guests.

Years later I surmised that bacteria have the ability to withstand ultraviolet light. They must have to live on the skin of humans who love the sun. What if those bacteria are also allowing us to withstand ultraviolet light. How do the bacteria fluoresce and why? Perhaps a bacteria mutated and gained the ability to withstand ultraviolet light by producing molecules able to fluoresce. That mutant was successful and multiplied. Any way, now many bacteria fluoresce and I believe they do so because it is to their advantage and ours.

I wrote about this to several people over the past 10 years or so with no replies. I do not, therefor, expect you to reply or even to read this. But I am glad you are doing what you are doing. I say it is the pinnacle of arrogance for Humanity to continue to believe that we have enough knowledge safely or wisely apply technologies as we have done. Once it was a "fact" that lead was a very good material to make utensils and water pipes out of. It was once acceptable to wash tar off human skin with gasoline. Asbestos once made great cigarette filters. And today it is quite acceptable to go swimming in enough chlorine to obliterate our first line of defense. Then we slather on a variety of chemical goo to take the place of the perfect sun screen.

THE EVƎNT is not another "sap opera"

I decided if I determined that the new NBC series THE EVƎNT was based on the same formula as Lost and the X-files I would not watch it past the point of that determination. So far I am hopeful that this new show will not be another "sap opera". The first episode was a bit irritating because of a fractured story line but it was effective and presented me with enough solid "evidence" to engage my mind and leave me determined to watch the next offering.

I have been entertaining the idea that the events on September the eleventh two thousand and one where altered and or augmented and or manipulated by powerful persons and or entities according to at least one specific agenda. The ideas presented in THE EVƎNT ...have the potential to open just such a possibility for exploration. While this new show provides a degree of plausible dependability to any agency that may have participated in the manipulation of 911 events, it also allows for an intelligent examination of such interventions and or manipulations.

One scenario I had envisioned involves an intervention that allowed the towers to be struck but prevented a more catastrophic outcome by facilitating a control demolition of the towers as has been witnessed and documented. Why allow the attack? I propose that a frustrated attempt would have lead to an even more ambitious and harder to control attack taking place. Why bring down the buildings with control demolition? I believe that even though the buildings proved able to maintain integrity once the demolition measures had been taken, it was necessary to go ahead in order to destroy the evidence of the preparations.

Of course as with any thing political in our current state of government it was necessary to allow certain boons to cooperating entities in order to gain said cooperations. Thus the demolition of the third building and its controversial and potentially damaging contents. Thus the permitted insurance fraud . I read today that Stephen William Hawking, CH, CBE, FRS, FRSA has stated that he no longer believes that GOD created the Universe. I understand his point of view and the need to clarify it. I tend to agree to a point with the inevitability of this Universe, given the conditions that resulted in what I call the pop (like bubblegum) and Professor Hawking and most call the Big Bang.

Where I disagree might be in what I believe creation is and where potential comes from. Maybe, in the beginning was the potential and the potential was with GOD and the Potential was GOD; to steal a phrase. Humanity and perhaps billions of sentient races exist or have existed or will exist, in this one galaxy alone, because of potential being realized. We are that that is and we came from that that was. ...

I am considering the possibility that GOD is the continuum of the potential that has lead to reality knowing itself. Are we not always becoming what we will be in every moment? Perhaps GOD is the continuum and continuity of the becoming of GOD. We are not what we have been. We are always this new thing. Perhaps the Potential for the future passes through us like fire and water and air and is life becoming life in perpetuity as long as truth and the GOD Potential exists....

I love the Bible. I believe in the One True God and I believe In the creation of the universe. But I say many of the unbelievable accounts in the inspired Truth and Light are simple misinterpretations of original spoken traditions and ancient writings.

One account that I see clearly as a misunderstanding is the age of Methuselah. Literal interpretations take Methuselah's 969 years to be exactly 969 solar years. But I say "see" understand that many peoples count a mans age in moons. Of course an ancient teller or writer would not see a need to specify moons as every one would understand the account as being months rather than years in contemporary culture. 80.75= 969/12 moons, this would be an astounding accomplishment in longevity for the times.

The sacred nature of our relationship with GOD should not prevent us from seeing the truth and correcting such simple and clear misunderstandings in a great resource. My lord Jesus held such wisdom as a core of his understanding of GOD. Our relationship with GOD is too important for Biblical inconsistencies to be dismissed as ideas to be accepted by faith when wisdom and common sense might reform the WORD of GOD as it was meant to be SPOKEN. I was 20 and so self absorbed when the hostages where being held in 1979. I didn't know about the injustice Iran had suffered when the Anglo-Persian Oil Company (APOC) abused its power. I had no Idea that My country had been manipulating other counties in the region. Now I can see that those manipulations and many of our recent covert activities have been irrational and harmful to much of the world.

It seems there is a substance that is able to greatly enhance a nations strength. It can be refined into very potent and addicting forms. Any nation that takes this substance will quickly build strength and become very confident, even over confident. Use of this substance soon becomes a dependency. As the pattern progresses Nations dependant on the substance will become aggressive and irrational when the substance is withheld or their access to it is perceived to be at risk.

My country is dependent on this substance and the classic symptoms of addiction have been actively denied by our peoples and leaders for far to long. Some of us are becoming aware of the true nature of our relationship with this poison. Like so many addicting substances this poison does far more harm than good. The users health is soon compromised. High temperature, poisonings, cancers and obesity are common. Because of the substance's ability to artificiality augment food production and facilitate rapid resource exploitation and overpopulation a nation looses metabolic balance. Depletion of vital resources(nutrients) coupled with the overpopulation and the resulting toxic load leaves the victim weak and vulnerable.

Any nation that continues to abuse this substance will die eventually, but not before much harm is done to relationships and the community of nations. Users often become pushers and the dependency can quickly overtake an entire planet. Once the substance is influencing the better part of a World it becomes very hard to treat the addiction and associated health problems. Fortunately, for the Planet, the addicted population should suffer a catastrophic collapse before destroying all life. The remaining sentient life then has a good chance of recovery as much of the poison will be consumed and remaining poison should be relatively hard to acquire.

The World is changing at an ever accelerating rate and America is suffering from an identity crisis that is going to do US great harm if it doesn't spell total disaster for our union and the experiment we call America.

The politics we suffer in this duality is about several forms of slow suicide. No matter how right is a solution in its conception, because we have to satisfy the opposition to some extent, that solution is compromised before it can ever be realized. Then after being set into motion no matter how hard the people who believe in the solution try, the other half is bound and determined that the solution fail. There are lots of ways to sabotage a thing. You can actively disrupt the operation of a thing. You can pretend to be engaged and helping but just not enough to succeed. You can think you are doing good but below your own level of conscious thought you can apply subtle changes that condemn a thing to failure.

Our current state of the state is classic schizophrenia. And the self sabotage we engage in is obvious to me. I can't understand how we got this far. The game playing and dysfunction in our political system is classic and so toxic it should have killed this country long ago, The only thing saving this state is the fact that it is so useful to the powers that be in its dysfunctional state that they make damn sure it stays this way. Period, no excuses, no apologies, I am saying what I mean here.

The result is an overwhelming sense of superiority in a home viewer that is powerfully satisfying and addictive. In places prone to drought let us find a balance with drought.

How can Human communities live in lands subject to flooding without being so vulnerable to disaster? Is it not possible for us to build accordingly and manage land use and even find ways to benefit from the huge kinetic NRG resource of flood waters? Imagine the difference that could be made if Humanity learned to use most of the waters that now threatens us.

It would take a massive effort to construct water management systems robust enough to utilize the force in that much water to do work. In places where flooding is seasonal and disastrous flooding is all to common the benefits of making this so are are obvious. These same locations have many workers who have no jobs. Can the rest of the world make a way for them to help themselves? In modern times it seems any thing that needs to be done has a price tag. I say this project and similar works of common benefit should not have costs. I say a thing can be done without the money handlers bleeding resources and creating complications.

This sounds like Communism? Yes, it is about Common Unity and the common good. It is about a people doing their own work for their own benefit and not for a masters gain. But it is not about politics and isms. Humanity has no time for ISMs. The Human community should learn to facilitate a project and then many projects to make real differences in all of our lives, not with empty dollars but with time and labor and knowledge and cooperation.

I say the time for capitalizing on others troubles has to end. But how can resources and professionals and governments unite with peoples to achieve the goals of sustainable land management and flood preparedness? Every one is quick to point out there is not enough money. And yet the same people say there is not enough work. How can this be when there is so much do be done? What is wrong with this picture? Some how some thing is very very wrong???

I say it is past time for Humanity to evolve beyond money and towards true prosperity.

“Hurricane Katrina: The First Five Days.”

We need to remember and be ashamed. We need to cry. We all need to remember that we are so close to disaster. Every Human on Earth is vulnerable but citizens of major cities are especially at risk. This should have been a wake up call. It has not been! It is being forgotten by most of us. THIS SHOULD NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

It should never happen again but it will. You know it will. What are you doing to be ready? What is your community doing to educate and prepare? If just one in five adults who remained in New Orleans during the aftermath of hurricane Catrina had 1 bag of emergency supplies, one month of training in emergency procedures, and 1 group who knew to trust them no one would have needed to die. If only 30 percent of that 20 percent would have actually been ready, the whole scenario would have been turned from the tragedy that was into the triumph we all must work towards. It is the every day people who get trapped in tragedy and it is every day people who need to be ready and willing and trained and able to do what needs to be done when tragedy strikes. We can not afford to rely on centralized services. Politicians make lousy first responders. No one is closer to an emergency than we are. Every one of us is there first in the right place at the right time.

So why couldn't one in five able bodied adults be trained and equipped and even reasonably compensated as an embedded first responder. The #s I picked are kinda arbitrary but the idea is sound.

I have a theory for why I am so deeply effected by Björk. I believe her counties language is very old and has preseved a way of seeing the world that is very important to Earth and Earthlings. Some how Björk is bringing forward a world view that has always been a part of most of us. To me her music is like some of the powerful visions I used to have. I ache for those days when "seeing" was a part of my life. That was a long time ago now and thanks to Björk I can feel close to being an Earthling once again.

Measuring Human prosperity is, like any other measurement, dependent on sound points of reference. Your view seems to me to exclude some important factors.

1. Humanity is cashing in on billions of years of acrewed interest in the form of resources (oil, coal, ground water, ecological balance... Natures support systems) that can not be replenished in any useful way in the short term.

2 Each advance in technology that we use/abuse to allow us to break rules of natural conservation comes with an equivalent vulnerability as we move away from sustainable practices.

3. Humanity is far from capable of wisdom at this stage of development. We are not wise and we have little self control because we have been spoiled like children. Our premature exploitation of science and technology has isolated humanity from the laws of the universe in a way that precludes healthy learning and human evolution both as a society and a species.

If single cell life has an existence in a place in the universe and it has the potential to evolve in one place on a planet then I say it must therefor also have the same potential wherever it exists. Evolution happens when mutations (changes during reproduction) of a life form benefit that life. Natural selection leads to differentiation in life forms as pressures in the environment and change itself takes place.

Why would the success of a complex organism be limited to only one instance on a whole planet? Why wouldn't it be possible for the failure of any number of iterations of complex organisms to be followed by the rise of another and another? The tenacity of single celled life and the variety of conditions on this ancient Earth would lead me to believe that complex organisms probably did fail and others probably did evolve. I could see competitions and complete extinctions. All the possibilities and permutations that had existed would make this probable in my estimation. Once reproduction had taken place and succeeded life would have the potential to adapt and exist in many environments as single bacteria or cells. Whether it did so first here on earth or not (see: extraterrestrial origins of life).

Any two populations of these organisms separated, for what ever reason, would have been subjected to different pressures and thus different paths would be taken over time. It is reasonable to believe that many subsets of organisms may have diverged before the more complex multicellular life first emerged. How is it not possible for life with a potential to become complex to become complex more than once? I say that it is more unlikely that life only took that path once. I say it is most unlikely that the first multicellular being even survived for very long.

Why the slow US pledge to Pakistan?

I believe at least part of the hesitation of western nations response with Pakistan humanitarian aid has to be the need to avoid an appearance of posing. By this I mean no matter how sincere efforts and pledges and gestures may be the west will be scrutinized and subject to distrust because it is no secret that America needs to improve its image in the eyes of Pakistan and Afghanistan peoples in order to achieve her goals in the region.

How would it be perceived if America had jumped in with a huge response at the first sign of need from Pakistan? I say the world would have viewed American efforts as a ploy to win "hearts and Minds" and any efforts would have only just been accepted with a taint of contempt. But a measured response, in this case, may have led or signaled other nations to react too slowly as well. Tactics of policy and political strategy may be sound but often cause unforeseen harm.

I hope now the gravity of this disaster will hasten world wide efforts and that Pakistan and the whole of the region receives and accepts the best efforts of the World Community as Humanity rallies to overcome this great hardship. How humanity acts now may define our existence for decades to come.

What is a government? What is money?

I see a government of a human country as if it where the autonomic nervous system of a complex life form. Only, It's not a good analogy, in a life form the individual cell can not decide to walk away and give up on the body. Likewise in a life form the nervous system does not give up on the body it serves.

If a government becomes isolated from the people it is meant to serve and creates a comfortable enclave in witch to exist it is not part of the life form, it is a parasite. I see so many fat parasites in the world that live by deception and greed. The "Plethrapa" of a dream I once had was such a creature. Gorging on everything in sight only stopping short of its own destruction grudgingly.

Are some current governments such creatures? Will they quietly rub meaty hands together and wait for the death of their surplus population in hopes of decreasing thus a wearisome burden? Do they discuss, in quiet circles, the wisdom of accepting mass flooding as an opportunity to lighten a burden "for the good of the whole?"

What logic's brain child is this thing called money upon which humanity will base all actions. If it is not the lack of ability to save those at risk then how is it the money in stead that prevents their rescue? What concept of our collective madness places an idea above the lives of hundreds of thousands of us?

It occurs to me that the situation in Pakistan is eerily reminiscent of another time when extreme weather and human conflict coupled with a virus mutation devastated some 50 million people. Right now there are at least 1 million people concentrated into localized groups who are under extreme stress. Not far away, there are people from all corners of the world involved in high stress work related to the "war on Terror".

A very similar situation back in world war one lead to a devastating pandemic. In fact disease and war have often been confederate in disaster. It only stands to reason that people distracted by war might miss the signs of danger from disease and people concentrated out of necessity in less that adequate conditions would be more vulnerable to an outbreak of any kind.

I propose the fragility of facts and the possibility that science as we know it has strayed from truth.

I believe that our existence, as part of the universe, has lead to problems of perspective. Perhaps what we are calling force is in fact not but the symptom of a state of accelerating expansion. Perhaps all matter is acting like dense NRG and it is accelerating away from centers of volume at a rate that is directly in proportion to the density of the NRG in those volumes. Perhaps this acceleration has been taking place for a very long time.

If I am correct, then the surface of the earth might be accelerating away from the center of the earth at ≈9.8 m/s². Given radiometric dating, one suggested age for the Earth is at least one kālpa or ≈ 4 billion years. 4 × 10↑9 years × 31,556,926s/y... well you get the idea. Even though my madness would result in relative rate of expansion greater by magnitudes to that of the accepted maximum speed of light I still chose my madness over the idea of a force of gravity.

Dr. Albert Einstein inspires the special view of our universe by seeing from a perspective outside our experience. That point of view allows us to see our existence in a way humans have not yet done before, as far as I know. "The observed independence of the speed of light on the observer’s state of motion required fundamental changes to the notion of simultaneity." What if this need for observed independence should also extend to another dimension so that an observer might imagine another aspect of reality and remain free from perceptual bias?

I say humanity is devolving in this age. I say that there may be no alternative soon. If the Earths ability to support life falls bellow a certain level Humanity will become desperate and a wildfire of exploitation may take the same course as the recent environmental history of Haiti. Our world, like the Titanic, is not unsinkable. Just as the Titanic had way to few lifeboats to go around, Earth may have no way out for the majority of us.

As matter expands outward entropy is absorbed inwards. Dense NRG expands in all directions unless it is organized or oriented according to the axis of the acceleration. Spinning vortexes of nothing and everything are constantly exchanging place or absolute position.

As matter accelerates away from centers of density, humanity experiences this acceleration physically as gravity and optically as distance and or perspective. Because we are also accelerating away from our centers of density and every thing we experience is also changing we have not unique point of reference to measure the change accept time.

In the special case of magnetic matter, however, we experience the relative acceleration that results from matter that has been oriented according to the axes of rotations of the nrg/entop exchanges. Every point is exchanging nrg and ntrop as long as change is happening and time is passing. A visualization of this charge in cross section resembles the classic funnel seen all over in nature and the imaginations of scientists. But just now I see them as event horizons and spherical elongated like galaxies or black wholes.

When ordinary "amorphous" unaligned matter expands we experience gravity in the vicinity of this matter, But in the vicinity of matter whose NRG exchange vortexes are aligned more so than not aligned (not omnidirectional but at least partly directional) a state of relative acceleration exists

What I am saying is that gravity and magnetism are both symptoms of accelerating expansion of matter into less dense NRG or what we call space for lack of a better tern. And EMPTYness of some sort has to be able to move into dense NRG at the same time. The area surrounding all matter has a depletion zone near the surface where there is less of this EMPTYness or NTROP.

A magnet is absorbing the EMPTYness more on one surface than another and it is accelerating more on one axis than any other. Thus relative acceleration. We perceive the magnet as any other matter as long as it is not in the proximity of another mass whose NRG exchange vortexes can align as well. the relative acceleration and uneven depletion zones result in forces that align the masses with one another if they are free to move. In fact I see a flow passing through the magnets end to end pole to pole but also particle to particle and vortex to vortex. Because they are moving relative to fixed or absolute points. The flow through one aligns the other like boats in a river but not just the masses themselves... the vortices's axes align as well as much as possible. Not because of a force but because of the flow of NRG into NTROP and the flow of NTROP into NRG.

The reason gravity is like going up in an elevator is that it is just that and the surface of the earth is acceleration beneath us at about 9.80m/s² . The rate of acceleration is directly proportional to the density of the nrg in the volume of matter or space in question. I say matter or space because the rule is the same for both. I believe the gravity equation for any given situation must take into account the NRG densities of both matter and "space" in the region being modeled. In other words in the equation:

Superlatives and facts are creeping into scientific discussion to the detriment of special thought. The clarity that is the absence of the preconceived is this place humanity achieves at some cost. An altered state of consciousness. This special reality is hard to maintain in an environment of lax thinking. Fallacious reasoning, Formal fallacy, Informal fallacy, all have roots in lax language imho. We can not let facts become dead calcification in our minds. When a scientist is misquoted to say the first or the oldest or the largest or infinite without the inclusion of some qualifier for the unknown we loose perspective and flexibilities. I know it is unintended and meant no harm but harm is done by default.
Try saying the oldest known or the largest ever seen or first example or thought to be infinite. It took me 50 years, minus the age when I knew what was the universe, to discover that my universe and yours is not in fact infinite. How many other facts need the crust scraped off and how far back must we go to find the correct path because I believe science has diverged from truth long ago.

So any way... Imagine matter is just like light but the light we call matter is organized so it moves on planes of our dimensions stable state called matter. Now imagine that light gets off the planes of existence called matter and moves at a tangent to all that organized light. It's still light.

One thing that seems to keep happening in our universe is the dilutions of concentrations. In chemistry and biology and physics hot moves to cold as cold moves into hot, concentrates dissolve into solution and solvents dissolve, populations expand and merge... And so goes change... Time I suppose... Why not, then, Matter absorbing "emptiness" and emptiness getting filled.

In another cycle of the same place I can see things going the other way, in a collapsing universe I can see matter falling inwards squeezing out the "emptiness". Would such a place have a "blue shift" where we have our red one? Would residents be aware of the possibility of red and blue or big getting very little and little getting very big or how both can be happening at the same time in the same place? The empty side of the coin may never get to see the full side. Each are part of the same coin and never the two should meet lest the coin be indiscreet. LOL

In the past decade, there have been international attempts to limit the practice of selling potentially lethal products to developing and under-developed countries. For example, in 1998, the United Nations’ Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade agreed a multilateral treaty to promote shared responsibilities in relation to importation of hazardous chemicals. This came into force in 2004.

Under the convention, extremely hazardous chemicals and pesticides that have already been banned or severely restricted in various parts of the world are put on a special list. Countries must then first obtain “prior informed consent” before they can export these hazardous products to another nation. In other words, the convention requires that intended recipient countries be informed of the hazards and have the right to refuse entry of the hazardous chemical, if they believe they are not able to handle it safely.

However, not all dangerous substances have been added to the list. Kathleen Ruff, senior advisor in human rights at the Rideau Institute, a Canadian foreign policy research consultancy, says Canada has “consistently stalled” on the inclusion of chrysotile (white) asbestos being added to the list (which it still mines, exports and terms “safe”).

Deepwater Horizon was an ultra-deepwater dynamically positioned, semi-submersible offshore oil drilling rig. Conditions where not optimal and problems are suspected in oversight and maintenance. Perhaps that was a worst case scenario.

Given optimal conditions, how safe is a Deep Ocean oil well that has been caped?

I am wondering how stable are the materials used? How long will a capped well stay capped? When will all these materials and technologies begin to fail? Because they will fail some day. Even after a well is exhausted to the point of being nonprofitable vast quantities of crude and other toxin's remain closer to the ocean than they should be. What is going to prevent unused or abandoned drill sights from releasing poison into the ocean 30 or 50 or 100 years from now?

The answers to such questions are probably not straight forward or forthcoming. But I hope we have the will in America and around our World to ask the questions and demand the answers and take the actions that will at least minimize the impact of Human interference with the Worlds Oceans.

At least 64 people have died in two blasts in the Ugandan capital, Kampala.

I often spend days poking around on my computer without looking at the World to see what is happening. Some times I feel ashamed of my detachment and comfortable escape. Today is one of those times. I don't know... would it make any difference if an old man in a tin shed knows about a tragedy halfway around the World. Probably not, But last time the World Cup was happening I took a few seconds to say a short prayer that just this kind of thing would not happen. I don't know much about soccer. I don't watch it. But I know it is one of those things that binds Humanity together when so much is pulling us apart. To bomb those Human Beings as they are bound in joy is to Bomb all peoples in their homes and schools and hearts.

I don't care who did this. I just want it to end.

What is it to be? No one is going to give in. What if all sides are wrong? Does that mean it's right to kill hundreds and thousands of people? Blood is not going to stop bleeding and death will not stop dieing until all the blood has been spilled and we are all dead... What is death going to accomplish?

God help us all.

Some times life surprises me with the exact thing I am looking for just when I need to find it. The film Goodbye Solo is one of those happy surprises. We all have to make decisions about life and a few of us are making final decisions. This film illustrates how one must move in the prescribed direction with the right amount of force and grace to achieve ones final goal.

The acting and the portrayal of life in the film is very satisfying. The subject is handled with great respect and humility as one man finds dignity in his ending and another finds hope in his continuing.

I once heard it said that to give up is to be a coward and to live takes great courage. Perhaps this statement was made by youth. Some day I see a time when the courage to let go is viewed as a virtue for the gift it can be towards the young. I see many of my generation as a great weight that no one is ready to carry. Respecting another's decisions is also a great gift. The orderly passage of seasons is seldom achieved in our times, so a quiet, clean and selfless passage is perhaps the greatest gift some can leave a troubled world.

Turn this computer off and turn around if you have the slightest idea that some one is waiting for you to look at them or listen to them or touch them. If you are like me at all you have built a wall of isolation in which you will not be disturbed as you continually numb yourself away from the real world.

Have you scolded a child for bothering you while you where "busy" at that computer. How many times have you told you dog to go lay down rather than really finding out what your friend needs from you. How much power does this thing have over you.

The problem is I have no one now. My dog is gone. I never leave this shed. I have no family. I have no friends I am in touch with any more and I don't think I can take my own advice. If you have a family or a dog or some friends do what it takes to keep them rather than losing them to this thing like I have done.

Some times I was so mean about just taking a moment to attend to my friend pepper, every time I think of the time I wasted on this machine when I could have been making his life better or at least bearable I hate myself and all I can do is say I'm so sorry. But hes gone now and he probably can't here me saying how much I miss him every day. He was "just a dog" but he was my whole family. So what does that say about me...

In February 26, 2010, Guillermo Fariñas Hernández declared yet another hunger strike to protest the death of fellow dissident Orlando Zapata Tamayo. He has indicated that he will remain on strike until twenty-six other prisioners of conscience who are seriously ill are set free. As of April 1, 2010, he has been in a hospital in his hometown of Santa Clara, receiving fluids intravenously since collapsing on March 11, 2010.^[3] doctors say he has developed a blood clot that could kill him.

The news was reported in Cuban state media, which usually ignore dissident protests.

I am responsible for the Gulf Oil spill. I wanted cheep oil and I was willing to take a "Who Cares?" attitude towards safety in order to get it. I mean who are we kidding? If Americans really wanted to be sure the safety features of oil rigs worked they could have raised a big stink and demanded inspections and protested until our government made it so.

Sure, it was British Petroleum who got caught but I'm willing to bet most, if not all, the oil rigs in service today should be shut down and inspected and updated and repaired and ... But no... that would mean I'd have to pay more to sit on my lazy ass and ride around. God forbid I should take a bus or ride a bike so the ocean might be spared this destruction.

I am leaving soon so what do I care. I got my cheep oil. I got my free ride... Shit! you think I'm going to make changes that cost me my ill gotten gains just when I'm having so much fun! Hell no. Party on...

My idea could improve barriers that are now quite inferior imho. It takes twice as much "boom" and in between them, free plastic waist. Like bottles and junk that is already floating out in the ocean. Problem is its got to be harvested and moved to the spill. If it had been on-hand and ready it would make a better barrier

A block of barges moves between the "booms"/pontoons picking up saturated plastic or other absorbent and depositing fresh absorbent.

P.S. the boats should be pulling away from each other to keep the booms as long as it is safe to. Maybe even a third boat in the middle. and another full rig like this is staggered behind this overlapping and another behind that

I am concerned with the reconciliation between Humanity and Earth.

Malaria kills a child every 30 seconds in Africa. This terrifying statistic upset and angered me. It was certainly motivation for making a film about how this carnage could be prevented.

Despite this stark fact my film is, I believe, an uplifting one. It's the story of an African hero, Clovis Kabaseke. A man with a big dream – to encourage African farmers to grow enough of the medicinal plant Artemisia Annua to wipe out Malaria.

The most moving moment for me came after five days filming with Clovis, his wife and six children. We had often talked about how frequently he and his family had been sick from Malaria. But now, in my last interview with him, he confessed that, in 2003, his four year old daughter contracted Malaria and died. His battle against Malaria is a very personal one.

Most people in Clovis's community live in poverty – but it doesn't stop them having fun! Part of the film covered a Naming Ceremony! When filming had finished, a small boy came up and asked me to dance... well I love dancing and so does Mike the cameraman. There was no stopping us. We danced the night away – the age of our partners ranging from 4 to 80!

Meeting someone like Clovis reminds me why I love my job. His knowledge of all the flora and fauna in Uganda, his passion for farming and his selfless dedication to his community was a complete inspiration, not just to me but to all the crew. I hope my film, through Clovis, makes viewers want to engage in the war against Malaria.

Most of the answers to humanities health concerns are freely available from the Mother of all life. I have come to see the exploitation of the Mother for Capitalism's gain as a sickness on Earth. The west distributes knowledge and saves lives. But I say make sure the lives you save have lives to live. Make sure because every life saved is the responsibly of the one who saves it. This is a law of Life and not a law of men.
