LOL well of course its going to look that way. The surface of the earth is expanding away from the core at ~9.80 M/s2
When (t1) the sender emitted the light both sender and receiver where closer to the core (R1) of the earth and closer (D1) to each other than they where when (t2) the particles reach the receiver. Because the earth is expanding outward at the accelerating rate and because the speed of light always stays the same relative to this expansion the apparent distance/time or velocity is going to appear to be faster than expected.
At t2 the time of reception D2 was much greater than D1. The expected path for the particles would be over the distance at time 1 at light speed at time 1 but the true path and speed are like the diagonal line in my little picture.
t1 is when the particles left the sender
t2 Is when the particles where received
R1 is the earth radius at t1
R2 is the earth radius at t2
D1 is the path distance at t1
D2 is the path distance at t2
Only now is Human kind beginning to see the reality of our existence. Now we have the ability to discern the symptoms of our own accelerating expansion and the reality that what we call gravity is not a force but a result. But even this enlightened view might be less than the whole story. Perhaps our revelation is a perpetual journey from one reality into the next and then another...
