Harlan Ellison brought us the Terminator

I was watching THIS TV just now and saw the terminator on The Outer Limits. It was like an early interpretation of the terminator series but with better writing.

Sure enough Harlan Ellison wrote the seed of the terminator series in Soldier (The Outer Limits)

I am looking for more of Ellison's work. I might even start reading again if I find some of his books cheep.

It was satisfying to be right about this connection. I barely remembered the episode when I watched the modern terminator films and never saw the connection until just now.

I know no one ever reads my crap but just in case you do and you like the Terminator like I like the concept write your thanks to:

and say Charley sent you...LOL

@Harlan if by some odd chance you happen to read this post I would like to thank you very very much for your contribution to the landscape of fiction as future exploration. You imagination in this case was, imho, prescient to the extreme. I believe it has opened the dialog, very early as it turns out, on a subject that is very important to the future of humanity; the Question of Mind Control and MK ultra and all the ramifications to follow

Corperation abomination

A creature that has no blood or heart or love is able to take lives and make choices for Human beings without thy permission.

A powerful creature has been created that is immortal and deadly and it moves with the will of an agenda beyond the law.

Please hear me scream as the corruption closes its jaws on my frailty. I am any one of you and i scream foul.. murder and corruption
